"Islands in Papua" is Iwanouz's first music release since he established himself as a solo career musician. It is the debut single from Iwanouz's eagerly awaited mini album in completion. The beauty of Papua Island in Indonesia, inspired him to make this song. He mixed electronic music, traditional song and Tifa (traditional percussion instrument of Papua) into a nice ‘Chillin’ song. He has worked with great musicians like Steven Jam (Steven and Coconuttreez), Aray Daulay, Bongky BIP and Didit Saad (Ray D’Sky). Iwanouz also worked on some music project with Ipang and J-Rocks. He also did some collaboration performance with international musicians like Kara Grainger, Afro Moses, and Big Mountain, all this has given him lots of experience.
During this release, Iwanouz is currently finishing his journey & performances in Finland. In a note posted at www.satoemusik.com, he wrote, “Nature’s beauty always gives me good inspiration in music, my music is like sounds of nature. I hope people from all over the world (including you) would like my music, and I can travel all around the world, playing my music and learn many new inspiring things.” More details about the mini album will be released in the New Year.
